As
soon as my parents have retired, the house was chosen and bought. But
this house had heating like most of city apartments. There was not
a fireplace, which could create an atmosphere of a cozy home. Then
the family began to make projects for the reconstruction of the house.
My parents invited an experienced architect who had had experience
in designing the buildings with heating. He told us that it was possible
to place oven in the house. Only the inner wall of the house had to
move to increase the floor area where the furnace was constructed.
We did not search the house of a great square. But my Mom dreamed of
a large kitchen or any dining-room in our house. Then the idea of combining
the kitchen and the dining-room was accepted by all members of our
family.
The need to dismantle the roof did not arise. The hole in the roof was
done carefully during the heating off in the summer. Outside the house was not changing. The construction of the stove was assumed inside the
house. The stove master warned that the work would be sustained, if we
wanted to have a well-heated room and the lack of smoke inside the house during the heating season.
By choosing the furnace should come up seriously. The furnace should be
selected based on the structure of a family room and the rhythm of life
of every individual. For example, if you constantly live in the house and
you have pets, then it makes sense to take a cooking-heating stove. However,
if you do not permanently reside in this room, you better take oven less
volume. In this case, the heat is in the house depends on the number of
furnaces in the day.
But in our case the oven for cooking was not necessary. The house had a
gas provision. Gas stove remained in the same place of the house in the
kitchenette. Other rooms in the house were heated by radiators. But they
were not even remotely resemble the ovens. We had to make a dining-kitchen
room design features. So, we needed some help of a designer and services
of ovener. Their concerted action would create a heart of the house of
our dreams.
